CAREERS GUIDANCE
The Broadwater School Careers programme is closely aligned with our unique motto 'By increments conquer'. It aims to help our students develop their abilities and skills to be ready for their next steps, whether that be college, an apprenticeship or entering the world of work.
We aim to help them understand their choices and pathways, so that they can achieve their ambitions by ensuring all Year 10 and Y11 students have access to a 1:1 careers interview with a highly qualified (Level 7) careers advisor. Students are also provided a number of career related opportunities during their time at Broadwater School including careers talks from leading professionals, talks from local further and higher educational establishments, mock interviews, work experience and attendance to careers fayres.
We also want them to appreciate the importance of their wider skill sets and resilience in order to succeed in school and in life.
