What to Expect from the Programme
Welcome to the application form for the King's College London Medicine and Dentistry Lecture Series 2026. Find out what being a dentist or a doctor really entails! Lectures will be held online via Zoom Webinar on Tuesday or Friday evenings at 5:00-6:30pm and will run from March - July 2026.
Over the course of the lecture series, you will hear from a variety of guest speakers from different specialties in medicine and dentistry. You will also learn about the application process with sessions on the UCAT, personal statements, and interview.
The lecture series is your one-stop-shop on your journey to making a successful application to medicine or dentistry!
The deadline to complete this form is Monday 9th February at 2:00pm. You only need to apply to the programme once. If accepted, you will be invited to the entire programme of lectures. Those who come to 50% of our core live lectures will receive a certificate of participation.

The Future Skills Programme: Careers in STEM – Apply Now
The Future Skills Programme: Careers in STEM is a comprehensive experience delivered virtually in February. Students can explore STEM careers in four key pathways and see how they can develop and document their skills for both successful applications and how to succeed in the workplace. Course requirements
- Open to all students in year 9 and 10 / S3 and S4 and suitable for all abilities.
- All students need is a genuine interest in STEM careers and inquisitiveness about what the future can hold for them and how they can help get themselves there.
The course will include a series of live sessions:
- Live Q&A sessions with STEM professionals in four key STEM areas Net Zero futures, Digital AI futures, Health and Life Sciences futures and Engineering, Infrastructure and Manufacturing futures.
- A session with early careers professionals on how to make successful applications including how to showcase their skills on their CV, applications and interviews.
- Hear from apprentices and universities about opportunities available in STEM in interactive panel Q&A sessions.
- A session with early careers professionals on how to succeed in the workplace including how to ask questions, networking and writing professional emails.
At the end of the scheme, students will develop their own action plan for how they can succeed in a STEM career.
Students will graduate as Bronze-level Industrial Cadets, a nationally recognised award that students can use as evidence of their experience and take forward to complement their future applications and career journeys.
Course structure: 20 hours of study to complete flexibly over 5 days during the 16th – 21st February.
Dates: The course is available on 16th – 21st February.
