Cashless Catering System 

To ensure a smooth and efficient service in our canteen, all food and drink purchases must be made using our Biometric Cashless System. This applies to both students and staff.

Adding Funds to Accounts

Parents and carers can top up student accounts via the My Child At School (MCAS) app:

• Go to ‘Dinner’ and select ‘Add Dinner Money’.
• A minimum top-up of £5 is required per transaction.
• Any amount can be held in the account for future use.

Free School Meals

If a student is entitled to free school meals and proof of entitlement has been provided, their account will be automatically credited each day. This credit is for lunchtime use only. Additional funds can be added if needed.

Spending and Monitoring

• The system has a daily spend limit of £5.
• Money spent is automatically deducted, and a daily breakdown of spending is available on the MCAS app under ‘Dinners’.
• Students can check their balance using the cash terminal in the Bistro.
