St Catherine's Careers Forum; Tuesday 30th September 2025; 4.30pm

The aim of the evening is to provide students in years 10 to 13 with the opportunity to hear about potential careers from St Catherine’s alumnae and parents who are experienced in specific sectors.  We hope that this event will also help students to make informed decisions regarding their A Level options and university courses, in addition to providing guidance on careers and practical advice about how to maximise their employability skills. 

During the event students will attend seminars in which a panel of 3 or 4 speakers will talk briefly about their work and career journey before giving students the opportunity to ask questions.  Each seminar will run twice to allow students to attend two preselected sessions. The seminars will be focused on the career journeys following on from degrees in particular disciplines, which enables the students to see the range of careers that can follow from studying specific degrees.

Seminars will focus on:

• Degrees in Business/Maths/Economics 
• Degrees in Languages 
• Degrees in Geography/Environmental Sciences 
• Degrees in Humanities 
• Degrees in Creative Arts 
• Degrees in Sciences – leading to medical careers 
• Degrees in Sciences – leading to other careers
