Clubs & Activities
There are many opportunities for extra-curricular and sporting activities during lunch time and after school and the Library Resources Centre is open every day including lunchtime and after school for reading, further study and homework.
Activities which take place either during lunchtime or after school include: Art, archery, athletics, badminton, band, basketball, bookshop, choir, chess, Christian Union, design and technology, cricket, dance, drama, football, gardening, gymnastics, hockey, netball, photography, rugby, tennis, trampoline, volleyball, health related fitness, computer club and electronics club.
Students also have the opportunity to learn musical instruments with extra-curricular music lessons linked to various school groups, bands and choir.
Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme
The school offers the opportunity for students to take part in the highly successful award scheme at both bronze and silver awards. This provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain experiences of outdoor expeditions and community service.

Updates to extra-curricular in PE after February half term
- Fitness suite is open
- Athletics conditioning circuits- Anyone is welcome. We will be practicing a few events and doing conditioning circuits. If anyone is interested in or thinks they will be involved in district athletics, this is the chance to start practicing.
- Basketball all years.
- Guildford Rugby is set to continue but we need more commitment to keep the coach coming in. Please see Mr Grove if you are interested.
