Broadwater School Trust is a registered charity that was set up in 2002, originally to support the school's application to gain status as a Maths and Computing Specialist College. This was achieved in 2004 and today the Trust now continues to enhance students' education in other ways. Its main aim is to advance the education of the students, in particular by providing and assisting in the provision of items, equipment and facilities at Broadwater School; to develop relationships between the school and the local community; and to engage in activities which support the school and the education of its students.
The Trust provides the extras for the student's education that the school budget cannot afford, both in the classroom and for extra-curricular activities. All purchases are approved by the Trustees and are in accordance with the School Improvement Plan.
