Broadwater School, situated between Godalming and Guildford in Surrey is a co-educational comprehensive school for students aged 11 – 16. Its modern and well-equipped school buildings are situated in spacious grounds with extensive sports facilities.  The mainline station of Farncombe is 10 minutes’ walk from the school and is on the main Waterloo to Portsmouth line.

SEND Co-Ordinator (Required for April 2019)

MPS+TLR 1 (2) £9,324

This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding and hard-working professional, with high expectations, to lead the SEND dept. in a highly inclusive school, which also houses a COIN unit.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Leader who has good knowledge and experience of SEND theory and practice.  There will also be the opportunity to join the extended leadership team for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be leading a large team of dedicated teachers, teaching assistants and speech & language therapists.

SCHOOL BUSINESS MANAGER

We are seeking to appoint a highly ambitious, skilful and self-motivated candidate to join our Senior Leadership Team as Business Manager.

As a member of the Leadership Team, you will provide strategic vision, leadership and advice in the provision of all non-teaching/business management aspects of the school.  You will be responsible for all aspects of Finance, Human Resources, Health and Safety, premises, IT and Administration, and ensuring that all arrangements are focused on supporting the development of the school and excellence in the provision of teaching and learning. 

You should have a recognised accounting qualification and ideally have experience of working within a school setting.  You should have a proven track record in excellent financial control and management and in developing strategic financial plans.  You must be able to provide sound financial and commercial advice to the Headteacher to ensure that the school fully utilises its asset base, including the Sports Centre, to maximise income generation within the ethos of the school.
